Promises

“Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, join us there. Our God will fight for us!” Nehemiah 4:20

This promise that, Our God will fight for us, should instill peace, hope, courage, strength, resolve, endurance, and even joy amid trial. We must remember: The battle belongs to the LORD. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is faithful to a thousand generations of those who love Him. His promises are true and unchanging. He created the heavens and the earth, and every human being. He knows us each by name, and numbers the hairs on our heads; He even keeps record of our tears. He calls us into an eternal relationship with Himself. He watches over our comings and our goings every single day. He alone gives us victory over the enemy. He equips us with everything we need for godly living. Our life is in His capable Hands!

"The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

What do these promises mean to you?

This is a picture of me overlooking the land of Israel from atop Mt. Nebo, just as Moses would have seen it. The stories of the Bible and the stories from my own life are a testimony to the fact that all of God's promises are true.
