We often think that if we only had more strength, more energy, more influence, more power, more resolve, or more perfection that we would be able to persevere; we would be better equipped to endure and overcome our situations, our tendencies, and our weaknesses. When all that is really needed is for us to realize and grasp the access we have to God’s abundant grace, and what that truly means.
God’s grace is sufficient for all our needs—both great and small. Grace is God’s unmerited, undeserved favor upon our lives. Grace is our entrance into God’s Heavenly Throne Room, our access to His love, His power, and His glorious Presence.
Grace is our peace in the present moment and our eternal hope for the future; it is our unshakable joy despite circumstances. Grace is a gift from God, poured out for us by Way of Jesus Christ.
Grace is the arms of Jesus outstretched for you and me; outstretched on the Cross for our salvation; outstretched in welcome as we are invited to take our place in His Divine Kingdom. Outstretched beckoning us to join Him for the duration.
God's magnificent grace is beyond our wildest imaginings, and fortunately it is within our reach. His grace is sufficient for our every need. Let’s stop depending on ourselves, and instead ask God for help and seize His gracious gift.
2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
