Invited

It seems that almost daily I am receiving prayer requests from family and friends—prayers for healing, for provision, for direction, for protection, for peace, and restored hope. What a blessing to be a partner in prayer and an intercessor on behalf of loved ones, delivering their cares, requests, and thanksgiving and praises alongside my own to the throne room of God. Prayer is a blessing and opportunity that is far too often overlooked. Power, peace, hope, and even joy infuse our lives and situation any time we seize this invitation to intimately converse with God, to bring our concerns to Him and lay them at His Sovereign feet. Prayer is the lifeline for you and me, connecting us with the giver of life Himself.

Let’s take the opportunity to push pause on the busyness of life for a moment and step into the Presence of God. Let’s lay our burdens down and hear His calming Voice. Let’s pray for one another and help carry each other’s heavy loads, delivering them to the hands of God. We are invited to pray about anything and everything—nothing is too big or too small. We are invited to rest in the arms of the Father. Let’s take advantage of this blessed invitation.

Ephesians 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
