Generous

Lord, as You are generous with me, help me to be generous with others. Generous with my time, treasures, and talents; with my words and actions; with my patience, kindness, love, grace and mercy, my attention, care, and thoughtfulness.

Lord, help me to be extravagantly generous to the sacrificial extent of the generosity You have shown me. You generously gave Your Son Jesus as a sacrifice for me; You set me free from sin and death; You shower me in amazing grace and show me undeserved mercies which are new every day. You give me the hope of a generous inheritance, of eternity in Heaven with You. You flood my heart, mind, and soul with Your generous love; You meet all my earthly needs from Your Throne in the Heavenly realm.

Lord, I fall on my knees overwhelmed by Your generosity towards me. Please help me to represent You well and live in the same generous manner.

Amen.
