When we stand before the Lord someday will we exclaim, “WOW!” in amazed admiration, or stand silently in awesome adoration? I believe that God’s glory will be so spectacular, beyond anything our finite minds can imagine, that it will be all we can do to even breathe, as His Presence brings us to our knees, our faces to the ground in profound humility and worship. All that we had dreamed, all the promises we had clung to, all the hopes we had pressed on toward, will finally be revealed and experienced in full clarity and tangibility. What before was dim and clouded, what our minds could barely comprehend, will blaze brilliantly before us, as we stand before the Throne and Heaven becomes our new reality. What was just out of reach, will now find fulfillment as Jesus fully embraces and welcomes us into eternity.
Ephesians 1:9-10, “He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.”
