Elohim—God our Creator

Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are Creator of heaven and earth, and You alone rule in authority over Your creation. You brought order out of chaos, and You continue to bring peace to our lives. You have purpose for everything and You give meaning to everyone who has been crafted by Your mighty hands. You created us for the very specific reason of having a relationship with You! All of creation testifies to Your goodness and the galaxies declare Your glory. You brought light into existence with just Your spoken Word. You placed the stars in the heavens and made the moon and sun to shine in the sky. Thank You for giving us Jesus, the True Light that radiates in the darkness, leading us straight home to Your welcoming arms.
