I have found that I am faced with choices every day, without exception. I have also found that whatever comes along throughout my day, I must keep choosing Jesus. He is the Way.
When faced with worry, I must choose faith.
When faced with misery, I must choose joy.
When faced with despair, I must choose hope.
When faced with panic, I must choose peace.
When faced with bitterness, I must choose understanding.
When faced with regret, I must choose redemption.
When faced with grudges, I must choose forgiveness.
When faced with greed, I must choose generosity.
When faced with harshness, I must choose gentleness.
When faced with rudeness, I must choose kindness.
When faced with hate, I must choose love.
When faced with curses, I must choose blessing.
Jesus is the answer to every choice we face. He is the way to abundant life.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.”
