The most difficult response for us to choose when life gets hard and seems uncertain, is to just be still and trust in the Lord. Tightly gripping the reigns or running to and fro is much more often our natural approach, and in the frantic process we allow blessings to be stolen right out from under our own feet and from within our own hearts. In contrast, when we choose to be still in the Presence of God, we get the chance to see Him do what only He can do. In the end, our stillness brings glory to God and a calming peace to us. Be still, and know without a doubt that He is God and He’s got it all under control.
Psalm 46:10-11, "Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress."
