A Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You and ask for Your healing touch. We acknowledge You as our Sovereign Creator and ask You to show Your mercy and power now. Please deliver us from this widespread affliction; bring healing to our land, to our hearts, to our bodies, to our lives. Strengthen us, protect us, and heal us; help us to focus our minds on You and cling to the hope You offer. Even in the midst of such alarming trials, fill us with faith and peace to help see us through. Lord, open our eyes to see the sparks of joy even in the foreboding uncertainties. Lord God Almighty, we ask for Your blessing to be upon us. We thank You and praise in the midst of this storm; we know that You are on the move behind the scenes and we hold to the promise that you are with us now. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
