A New Name

When the children of God pass away from this earth, all theirs cares of this world pass away too. The ways of the world no longer have hold over them; they are completely set free. They are freed from the imperfect and temporary trappings, the ailments and pain, the confusion and struggles, the sin and shame. Instead they are held in the arms of their Savior and they dwell in eternal perfection. They forever reside in the Kingdom of Heaven where peace, clarity, and righteousness reign, and where they are given a new name.

Revelation 2:17, “To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna [spiritual food]. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.”
