You matter, you are significant, you are seen, and you are heard. There is no greater proof of our value and worth in God’s eyes than His invitation to meet with Him in prayer. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, overlooked, or ignored, rest assured that God makes it His priority to spend time with you. He can keep the whole world spinning and hold the stars in their place, while keeping His ears acutely attuned to your voice and His eyes continuously focused on your face. The Lord God Almighty cares very deeply about even the tiniest details of your life. So, look to Jesus and come to Him in prayer. Prayer is our greatest resource and privilege; it is our means of communicating with our Heavenly Father. He invites us to pour out our hearts or sit quietly in in His Presence. He will speak back; we need only listen.
Philippians 4:6 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
